Q: Could someone tell me why the 2010 volkswagen beetle rated 1 star on these things?

A: The rating has nothing to do with cost of collision repair. The lower the rating i.e.1 star, the higher the likely hood of serious injuries in a collision.

The VW Beetle performs well in a front and rear impact but poorly in a side impact. Many vehicles have a lower side impact rating verses a front or rear impact because there is less space between a driver and the side of the vehicle.

Q: Why is the Volkswagen New Beetle switching to 4-cyl engines in 2010 or 2011 from the current 5-cyl engine?
Is there something wrong with the 5-cylinder engines?

A: they probably think it’s cheaper, and it probably is. Also, making an inline 4 is easier than an inline 5, and it’s most popular, and better gas mileage. The list goes on.

Q: Which Car Do You Should I Get?
For a [belated] 16th birthday present my parents are getting me any car I want (please don’t call me spoiled, I really am not). I can’t decide between 4 cars; BLACK bmw x5, RED vw convertible bug, BLUE vw convertible bug, or BLUE honda crv.

A: Psh, well if I was given the option of a nice BMW then I would chose that car over a Honda any day! I mean if they’re letting you get a BMW, get it while you can!

Q: How can i make payments on a car?
I want to make payments on a new volkswagen beetle, it doesnt have to be a 2010… actually i prefer a 2003 or 2006. But can somebody tell me where to go so i can start? and How much (on average) will it cost me? This is my first time doin this and i just need a little help please? thankyou?

A: Do a little research and find one you would like. Then, go the dealer that has it in stock and see if they can get you qualified for a loan with a lender. Or, go to your bank and see what they can qualify you for.

I am a Finance Manager for a VW dealer. If you have verifiable income of, say $1500 a month or more, have been on your job for a year or so, and have established credit with no derogs, you may be able to get one. If this is your first major purchase, you may need a co-signer, i.e. mom or dad.

Beetles in those years (2003 – 2006) go for anywhere from $6,000 – $13,000 depending on mileage and condition, so you could be looking at a payment of anywhere from $150 – $300.
