Q: is it worth buying a service contract with a new 2010 Honda Accord EX L?
I just bought a brand new 2010 Honda Accord EX L and the finance Mgr told me that he would buy the service contract with the car in case anything goes wrong after the factory warranty expires. This is my first brand new car so I am looking for advice from experts and Honda owners to whether or not buy this additional contract. the contract cost is $1,500 and its with 3rd party not thru Honda
Thanks a bunch!!
Thanks all for your valued feedback! that’s what I was thinking, the only reason I was hesitant about it and got me thinking since the EX-L is power everything which could have a more possibility to break as time passes which can be expensive to fix
A: nope.
p.s you picked a really reliable car
Q: 2010 Toyota Camry SE or 2010 Honda Accord EX?
Which one would you buy, and why?
A: Toyota because its a sedan and its jus looks better
Q: Is $28,500 too expensive for a 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V-6 (no nav)?
2010 EX-L V-6 Model
No Navigation.
w/ Front Under Spoiler and Pinstripe
A: no,, there really nice
Q: Who owns a 2010 ex V6 Honda Accord and would like to tell me about it?
I am 17 and my parents want me to get a car. They like this car a lottt and so do I. Please give me sites where I can learn about them. Thanks alot!!!
Details and how you like it would help too!
A: The only negative thing I’ve heard of the current generation Accords is that they eat through rear brakes like theres no tommorrow. But Honda might have solved that problem.
Q: Which car should I get? 2010 Toyota Camry XLE V6 w/navi or 2010 Honda Accord EX-L V6 w/navi?
The Price is almost exactly the same.
The camry’s specs look just a bit better and is just a bit safer according to IIHS crash test ratings.
A: do those people who answered your question don’t have anything else to do beside bash Toyota constantly….and now Honda?
well, what you say is true and now a days you can get a good price on a Toyota because of their reputation hit hard.
This is a matter of practicality, if you like a car that is well balanced, handles good, then Honda will easily win. Honda’s V6 engine does have one camshaft (SOHC) (i.e. less parts) meaning that it could be reliable and fuel efficient at the same time.
If you prefer comfort, reliability, average drive quality, and fuel efficiency then Toyota will win.
Honda can sometimes be overpriced but they actually are good cars, Toyota can come down a bit. Now to Car insurance, Honda Accord will be the cheapest to insure.
Brakes: I find that Honda’s brakes are more responsive than a Toyota (FOR TOYOTA BOTS: This has nothing to do with recall). In Camry you slightly have to push hard in order for them to work hard while in Honda, you push and it stops.
Drive wise: I felt that Camry was easier to maneuver WHY? because Honda seems too big, it doesn’t have to be and Camry only feels big from the back, Honda is big all around.
Drive them both and see which suits you better!
Q: Do they make the 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L in a Manual transmission?
A: The 4 cylinder EX-L does not have an option of manual transmission. The 4 cylinder EX comes in manual and auto, same with the EX-L V6.
Q: A new 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 or a used 2007 Acura TL?
Which one is a better buy?
The price for a new Accord Coupe EX-L V6 is around $30K MSRP
I’ll try to answer any questions you may have along the way, thanks in advance.
Also, the TL I’m looking at as around 30K miles on it and the price is $23K
A: I would get the Accord and here’s why.
1. Accord and TL are virtually identical since the latter uses the same chassis and engine. But the TL is based on the previous gen Accord (2003-7). So the Accord has more power, better styling and latest technologies.
2. New Hondas come with better warranty than a used Acura. TL warranty will expire sooner than a brand new Accord.
3. The biggest mistake shoppers make is that they look at the MSRP of new cars and automatically believe they cant afford it. Had they done some research they would know yoi can get $5000+ discount on top of the line Accord.

Q: i am finna turn 18 should i get a 2010 honda civic ex-l with nav or just a 2009 honda accord ex regular versio?
I am looking at Honda and Nissan and Toyota only. and i cannot drive a stick
A: You should go with the EX-L. I was in the market for an LX, but because of limited availability of manual transmissions I went with the EX, and I’m SO glad I did! (tho I wish I had gotten the EX-L now)
In my opinion, I would rather get the top trim on lower model than the basic trim on the next model up. All those little luxuries (like audio controls on the wheel, sun roof, better speakers) really make you feel like you’re in a nicer car. So my guess is you’d be happier in a nice Civic than a basic Accord.
Also the Civic has a pretty unique dashboard style, whereas the Accord has a more standard one. I love the Civic’s dash, but some people don’t, so that would probably be a pretty significant factor in your decision.
P.S. The civic also gets better mileage, in case that’s a factor.
Q: Which car should I get: A 2010 VW GTI or a 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6?
Now, I know these two are very different. When it comes to handling, performance, and quality but it’s come down to the two. Now, this is my first car because I’m only turning 17 in a couple of months. But I figured why not compile some facts on the cars about their reliability and whether or not I can live with it day to day.
I love how the new GTI looks and it has a great new interior. It’s just, a GTI isn’t my type. I feel like I wouldn’t be able to pull it off. But I currently drive my brother’s MkV GTI and absolutely love it so the new GTI would be an obvious choice.
However, I really like the way the Honda looks inside and out. And it has a lot more power than the GTI. I think Honda is more my league. With the GTI, you become part of this club and honestly, I don’t want to be apart of it.
Well, let me know what you guys think, regardless of how stupid a question this is. Thanks.
A: Aw man, easy, the V6. That thing has quite the kick! Actually, that’s the same car I decided on.
250 horsepower man, and you can FEEL the engine through the steering wheel! I love that car!! And I’m only talking about a 06 or 07, the 10 must feel great.
As far as reliability, you just can’t beat the Honda Accord.
Q: New 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 vs. Used 2007 Acura TL?
I am trying to pick one of the two for my next ride but I can’t seem to decide which one to get. They have identical engines and everything, they’re prices are about the same, only difference is one’s a luxury sedan and the other’s a coupe. I don’t have a family so I don’t have many people to drive around so I feel like a coupe could be nice. However, I really like Acura’s interior and look. I’m hesitating on the TL also because I can only afford buying it used so I am a bit paranoid about hidden defects and how the previous owner treated the car. I need some help please, any suggestions or pros and cons of both cars? Thanks in advance.
A: Acura.
Case closed.
Q: 2010 Honda Accord Sedan/Coupe?
I am looking to purchase a new 2010 Honda Accord Coupe, Ex Model and was wondering if anyone knows if the 2010 accord models are affected by the brakes problem like the older models has. Thank you in advance
A: All the problems should be worked out, so I think you would be fine with purchasing one.
Q: 2010 Honda Insight EX vs. Honda Accord LX?
I’m looking to buy a new car and i am trying to decide between these two. The price is not a deciding factor but i need to know if anyone owns the Insight as it is new. I know the insight is slightly smaller but i just wanted some feedback. thanks!
A: The Accord will not have the same gas milage, even with the 4 cylinder engine. The Insight will have a lower level of appointments than the Accord, not that this will be a real negative.
The Insight is an entry level car, like the Fit. The Accord will remain their middle tier large sedan, leaving Acura to fill the deluxe model line. And I doubt that Honda will field a new Accord hybrid model for at least 5 years.
Q: Is $29,000 a good Drive-Out Price for a 2010 Honda Accord?
I recent negotiated for the price of a 2010 Honda Accord Couple EX-L v6. The drive out price all together will be $29,000. Is that a good price? I live in Tampa, FL also.

MSRP on the sticker of the car was, I believe, $30,700 …. that is without TTL…

I did get it below KBB’s invoice for the car….
I’ve looked at a few other dealerships, and can’t seem to get a better deal… maybe $100 or $200 more than that.
A: what was MSRP?
