The Chief Executive Officer Provides strategic leadership, manages partnerships,
oversees operations, budgets, governance, and organizational growth.
Reports to: WFP Board of Directors
Key Responsibilities:
● Provide strategic leadership and execute business plan.
● Build partnerships with First Nations, industry and government.
● Oversee budgets, funding and organizational performance.
● Lead senior staff and organizational culture.
● Ensure governance and regulatory compliance.
● Represent WFP publicly and with stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor degree in business, forestry or related discipline.
● 10+ years senior leadership experience.
● Strong financial and governance knowledge.

Note: Personal suitability will also be considered during the hiring process. WEDCo may
consider candidates that initially may not have all the experience and knowledge requirements.
